Province is read from the postal code of the supplier in the published record, so this is where the incumbent is based, not where the work is performed. The published data carries no place-of-performance field at all. Contracts with no postal code, or a foreign one, appear on no province page.
These contracts are already awarded. Nothing here is open to bid today — the point is to see a renewal coming while there is still time to talk to the department. Open tenders are posted on CanadaBuys.
Expiry dates show the period a department has committed to. Many contracts carry option years that are not published until they are exercised, so treat a date here as the earliest a contract could come back, not a guarantee that it will.
